Wine Domaine de Fondrèche - Altineo Rouge 2024 from Domaine de Fondrèche is made from old vines planted on a high-altitude plateau, in the heart of a preserved environment. The blend, predominantly Syrah with Grenache, aims to strike a balance between structure and freshness. The terroir, composed of stony and limestone soils, contributes to the wine’s character. Vinification is carried out without the addition of sulphur, with ageing in a variety of vessels including amphorae, ovoid vats and barrels. This approach allows the wine to develop naturally whilst respecting its origins. The aromatic profile features notes of black fruit, complemented by spicy undertones. On the palate, it displays a precise structure, with a sensation of freshness and balanced body. A carefully crafted wine, destined to age beautifully!
