Azisa Grillo 2024 - Zisola

Wine Zisola - Mazzei - Produced from the Sicilian vineyards of the Mazzei family, a leading name in Chianti, Tuscany, the Grillo DOC Sicilia Azisa is made in south-eastern Sicily, near Noto. The word ‘Azisa’, which gave rise to the name ‘Zisola’ and also means ‘beautiful’, reflects the character of this organic wine. Hand-harvested and fermented at low temperatures, the white grapes of the indigenous Grillo variety reflect the limestone and mineral-rich soil of the Contrada Zisola. On the nose, the Grillo Azisa 2024 displays the fresh, fruity and floral aromas typical of Grillo, with a subtle hint of olive and citrus, characteristic of the estate (which combines vineyards, olive groves, almond trees and citrus orchards). On the palate, it is pleasantly dry and mineral, with good body, tangy notes and a salty finish. A fresh, light Grillo, ideal as a convivial aperitif, accompanied by antipasti and summer barbecues.
