Wine E. Pira E Figli Chiara Boschis - Barolo Cannubi, located in the village of Barolo, is the appellation’s most famous and prestigious vineyard. The soil composition and the vineyard’s perfect southern exposure give the grapes an extraordinary character. A wine of great class that expresses the elegance of the territory from which it originates. It is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new, and for 12 months in the bottle before being released. Persistent on the nose, it offers intense aromas of red fruit, cherry, plum and floral notes, particularly of rose. On the palate, it displays a beautiful structure, a full-bodied and velvety flavour, with a long, harmonious finish.
