Wine Domaine La Bouïssière - Produced in the Beauregard vineyard, this 2023 Gigondas from Domaine La Bouïssière comes from a high-altitude valley reaching 400 metres, benefiting from a cool, sheltered environment that directly influences the wine’s profile. This single-vineyard cuvée, produced in limited quantities (1,900 bottles per year), is a blend predominantly composed of Grenache, complemented by Syrah, sourced from old vines. The marl and limestone terroir, combined with the altitude, fosters a more nuanced expression and a certain tension in the wine. Vinification is carried out using a gentle approach, without fining or filtration, to preserve the integrity of the fruit and the vintage. Ageing in large casks for several months helps the wine develop its structure whilst respecting its natural balance. The aromatic profile is characterised by notes of red fruit, dried herbs and delicate spices. On the palate, the texture is particularly refined, with very subtle tannins and a sense of fluidity. The wine displays remarkable balance, characterised by freshness and an elegant expression, which is uncommon for the Gigondas appellation.
