Wine Bialoni – Georgian Wines & Spirit (GWS) - Made from several indigenous grape varieties, Bialoni Amber 2023 embodies the Georgian winemaking tradition, combined with the innovative processes of Georgian Wines & Spirits, a major player in the Kakheti wine region. Hand-harvesting, skin contact fermentation in stainless steel vats and ageing on lees for 60 months reveal the rich aromatic character and solid structure of Kisi, an ancient indigenous grape variety. Produced from the Vardisubani vineyard, a unique micro-terroir situated at an altitude of 600 metres in an ancient riverbed, with rocky soil and a limestone subsoil, this Georgian amber wine has taken on the dry and fresh character of its terroir. Its lovely golden colour with shimmering highlights reveals, on tasting, exotic notes of citrus and orange blossom, with a balsamic touch. The tannins, typical of vinified white wines, lend it body and complexity. Enjoy as an aperitif or with a meal, pairing well with a salad, smoked fish or herb-crusted poultry.
