Blanc 2024 - Domaine Bordaxuria

Wine Domaine Bordaxuria - At Bordaxuria, each terrace tells the story of Elorri and Brice’s meticulous work. With 80% of the vines planted on terraces, the vineyard is managed semi-manually, maintained through 400 hours of brush-cutting and winter hoeing. The estate protects its vines using natural methods, combining copper, sulphur, clay and herbal infusions, in accordance with organic viticulture. This 2024 vintage is a blend of Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng and Petit Courbu, grown on red and yellow sandstone soils with rounded pebbles. The winemaking process, combining concrete vats, 400-litre barrels and stoneware jars, preserves the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir, without malolactic fermentation, to produce a vibrant, airy white wine. The result is a wine of character, structured yet fresh, capable of ageing for up to 10 years, reflecting the energy and precision of these young Basque winemakers. Serve at around 8°C to fully appreciate its freshness and minerality.
