Wine Bonnet Cotton - The Brouilly ‘Les Mines’ comes from one of the most iconic appellations in Beaujolais, renowned for producing predominantly fruity wines with an accessible structure and direct aromatic expression. Domaine Bonnet Cotton adopts a low-intervention winemaking approach, prioritising practices that respect the vines and grapes. Fermentation is carried out in a way that preserves the integrity of the fruit, with particular attention paid to the wines’ natural balance. The ‘Les Mines’ cuvée is made from Gamay plots selected for their quality and consistency. Soft maceration during vinification allows the essential elements of the grape variety to be extracted whilst retaining a fluid texture and a clear aromatic expression. The 2023 vintage features a profile centred on red and black fruits, with a supple structure, a balanced framework and a fresh finish. The wine as a whole reflects both the character of the Brouilly appellation and the estate’s natural style.
