Champagne Champagne Mathelin - As its name would indicate, this L'orée des chênes is made from a part of the wine matured in oak barrels. In fact, this cuvée is 45% Chardonnay that has matured for 6 months in casks, then 35% Pinot Meunier and lastly 20% Pinot Noir. A classic blend that adds a lovely complexity. Tasting offers nice floral notes and delicate hints of citrus fruit, all enhanced by a touch of toast. A cuvée with great character that goes perfectly with spicy dishes or gastronomic meals.
