Wine San Felice - Named In Avane in homage to the Etruscan name for the region, San Felice’s IGT Toscana Chardonnay expresses the richness of its terroir, a small medieval hamlet situated in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, near Siena. Produced from the San Felice vineyard, which combines a high-altitude microclimate with calcareous marl soil, and hand-harvested in the cool early hours of the morning, In Avane is fermented in stainless steel vats and oak barrels, before ageing in the bottle for several months. The 2024 vintage, harmonious, fresh and highly aromatic, reveals itself through complex and persistent citrus aromas, white flowers and distinct notes of straw and acacia. On the palate, fresh and balanced, it reveals the roundness and smoothness of Chardonnay, with a medium-bodied feel. Enjoyable now, it will age well for 5 to 8 years.
