Château Bois Mondont Saint-Germain 2016 - Cru Bourgeois

Wine Château Bois Mondont Saint-Germain - Château Bois Mondont Saint-Germain 2016 is a Cru Bourgeois from the Médoc, produced from an exceptional vintage marked by a rainy spring followed by a hot, dry summer, ideal for the ripening of the grapes. This wine, a blend of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), stands out for its deep colour and intense bouquet of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), cedar and blond tobacco, with a subtle woody note. On the palate, it offers an elegant tannic structure, good length and a fresh, lingering finish. Its traditional vinification (long maceration, ageing in oak barrels) gives it depth and ageing potential, whilst remaining approachable after decanting. Perfect with hearty dishes such as a roast rack of lamb, a grilled rib steak or pan-fried porcini mushrooms, it is best served between 16 and 18°C.
