Wine San Felice - Produced from a bold blend of Sangiovese and Pugnitello grapes (an ancient Tuscan variety, revived by San Felice), planted on gravelly soils at an altitude of 400 metres, vinified separately in stainless steel vats and aged for around 12 months in large oak barrels, San Felice’s Chianti Classico Borgo expresses all the complexity of its DOCG-classified terroir. From a warm vintage, this smooth and elegant Chianti stands out for its aromas of red fruits and fresh violets, enhanced by subtle spicy and herbaceous notes. Dynamic and rich on the palate, it displays a fine structure, with silky tannins and delicate mineral flavours, lingering in a long, persistent and balanced finish. Enjoy it now with a rib of beef or lasagne it can be cellared for up to 10 years.
