Wine Domaine Marcel Richaud - Domaine Marcel Richaud’s Ebrescade 2023 comes from a selection of plots situated at higher altitudes, on steep hillsides with low yields, which encourage concentration in the grapes. The blend, dominated by Mourvèdre and complemented by Syrah and Grenache, reflects a character marked by structure and concentration. The old vines and low yields contribute to the wine’s intensity. Extended ageing in demi-muids and large casks for 24 months allows the wine to develop and gives it structure. The aromatic profile features notes of ripe black fruit, combined with spicy, toasty and floral nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with perfectly integrated tannins. The wine maintains a fine balance and lovely depth. It is a wine designed to age beautifully over the years.
