Field Blend 2024 - Exopto

Wine Exopto - Bodegas Exopto’s Field Blend 2024 is a signature white wine from the high-altitude terroirs of Rioja, made from old vines planted in mixed-varietal vineyards. This original cuvée reflects the historical identity of Spanish vineyards, where several white and red grape varieties coexist and are vinified together. In the past, white grape varieties, being more productive and sensitive, were used to balance yields and prevent disease. Today, this heritage gives rise to a unique cuvée, composed mainly of Viura (?70–85%), complemented by varieties such as Garnacha Blanca, Malvasía, Moscatel and Palomino, thus expressing all the richness and diversity of its terroir. Vinified in large casks, concrete eggs and barrels, then aged for 12 months on the lees, the wine has a rich structure whilst retaining all its energy. Its rich aromatic palette evokes citrus fruits and white flowers, accompanied by notes of aniseed and a hint of rosemary. A gastronomic white, at once complex, elegant and mineral, which is part of the new generation of Rioja white wines.
