Grand Mere Pinot Noir 2023 - Domaine Nico

Wine Domaine Nico - Like the estate's other 100% Pinot Noir cuvées, Grand mère is crafted with delicacy and subtlety, while displaying intense aromas and flavours of cranberries, cherries, lemons, dried flowers and maritime notes. On opening, there's a hint of black fruit combined with a spicy character of black pepper and cinnamon, while on the palate there's red cherry and strawberry. The acidity is medium and moderate, then lively on the finish, giving it great freshness. The tannins are smooth and the wood well integrated, but it is still advisable to wait a few years to fully appreciate its greatness.
