Grande Garrigue 2024 - Alain Jaume

Wine Domaine Grand Veneur - Alain Jaume - Alain Jaume’s Grande Garrigue perfectly illustrates the style of the great Vacqueyras wines, produced from clay-and-gravel terroirs characterised by Mediterranean vegetation. The blend, dominated by Grenache and complemented by Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, reflects a classic expression of the appellation. The garrigue soils lend the wine characteristic notes of dried herbs and spices. Traditional vinification with extended maceration helps to extract colour and structure. Ageing in vats and barrels contributes to the wine’s overall balance. The nose develops aromas of black fruits, enhanced by spicy and peppery nuances. On the palate, the wine is structured, with present yet integrated tannins. An expressive and balanced wine, representative of its terroir, to be enjoyed in its youth or after a few years.
