Wine Azienda Agricola Brigaldara - An iconic sweet wine from Veneto, Brigaldara’s 2021 Recioto della Valpolicella embodies the elegance and tradition of great wines made from sun-dried grapes. Produced only in the best vintages, it is made from carefully selected native grape varieties (Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella), which are then dried using the traditional appassimento method, thereby concentrating sugars and aromas. Made from old vines and harvested by hand, this wine benefits from a long drying period for the grapes prior to fermentation. Fermentation is deliberately halted naturally to achieve a harmonious balance between alcohol and residual sugars. Two years’ ageing in large oak casks brings structure and complexity.
