Hugo 2021 - Thunevin-Calvet

Wine Thunevin-Calvet - The Hugo cuvée is made from vines aged between 40 and over 100 years old, cultivated with low yields and carefully harvested by hand. The wine has benefited from a long ageing period of 18 months in demi-muids and large casks, lending it elegance and precision. This superb Côtes du Roussillon Villages boasts a deep purple colour and an intense nose of black raspberry, graphite and toasted spices. Dense and structured, it reveals a generous heart of red fruits and blackcurrant, enhanced by sweet spices and a touch of oak. The tannins are silky, the texture full-bodied, and the finish lingering. A powerful and distinguished red, to be enjoyed now or laid down for the future.
