La Croix de Beauregard 2019

Wine Château Beauregard -  On the sandier soils on the south-eastern edge of the Pomerol plateau, Croix de Beauregard expresses an elegant and approachable facet of the Château Beauregard terroir. Produced from a rigorous plot selection within a 17.5-hectare organic vineyard, this wine is made from vines averaging 35 years of age. The classic blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc reveals a precise and harmonious style, where ripe fruit blends with lovely freshness. The 2019 vintage, marked by a hot summer and an ideal September, allowed the grapes to reach perfect ripeness. Vinified plot by plot and then aged for 12 months in barrels – with a portion in terracotta jars – Croix de Beauregard captivates with its balance, finesse and the authenticity of its origins.
