Wine Château Maine Chaigneau - Grown on the clay-limestone soils of Lalande-de-Pomerol, this blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%) boasts a deep ruby colour and an intense nose of ripe black fruits, violets and subtly oaky vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, velvety and perfectly balanced, with a long finish featuring slightly spicy notes. Ideal with grilled rib of beef, roast lamb or mature cheeses.
