Sparkling Wine Cantina Settecani - Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro Secco is produced in southern Emilia, in the vineyards of Cantina Settecani, between Modena and Bologna. This area, with its sandy-clay soils rich in limestone, is perfectly suited to the local red grape variety, Lambrusco. Slightly sparkling, this Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC (named after the small medieval village of Castelvetro di Modena) showcases intense aromas of red and black berries (blackberries and blackcurrants), with some herbaceous notes. On the palate, it displays a pronounced structure typical of the variety, balanced, velvety and relatively tannic. Ideal for discovering the traditional range of Cantina Settecani, a sustainable cooperative winery (VIVA-certified) and one of the oldest in the region. This red sparkling wine pairs wonderfully with a tasty dish from Emilia-Romagna or a fruit-based dessert.
