L'Artiste Sauvignon 2024 - Famille Bougrier
Wine Famille Bougrier - The LArtiste cuvée pays tribute to Jean-Claude Bougrier, a leading figure of the familys fourth generation and a true enthusiast of Loire wines. Nicknamed the professor for his exacting standards and determination, he profoundly shaped the style of the estates wines through his constant quest for precision and the expression of the terroir. Produced between the Sèvre Nantaise and Maine rivers, this Sauvignon Blanc is vinified at the Caves de la Nantaise, in the heart of a terroir characterised by light, rocky and stony soils that enhance the grape varietys aromatic expression. The grapes are harvested at perfect ripeness and then vinified using traditional methods. The nose is intensely expressive, with aromas of citrus, lemon and grapefruit, accompanied by floral notes and freshly cut herbs. The palate is fresh, rich and particularly mouth-watering, offering a pleasant balance between liveliness and fruitiness. An accessible and expressive Sauvignon Blanc, perfect with fish in cream sauce, smoked salmon, white meats or goats cheese.
