Le Ciste blanc 2023 - Domaine Laguerre

Wine Eric Laguerre - Eric Laguerre has made the Ciste cuvée one of those white wines that have embodied the revival of southern French wines. Tension, precision and finesse rather than exuberance. In the vineyard, he works rigorously, respecting the cycle of life and the soil to provide his plots with an ideal environment, free of chemical inputs, in which to flourish. In the cellar, the wine has benefited from particularly well-integrated barrel ageing, which enhances the juice without distorting the brightness and purity of the fruit. On tasting, we find a wine with beautiful tension that balances the honeyed side, minerality and some lovely bitter notes on the finish.
