Le Talent d'Achille 2024 - Domaine Guenault

Wine Famille Bougrier - Produced on the heights of Saint-Georges-sur-Cher, at the heart of the Touraine appellation, Talent d'Achille pays tribute to Achille Guenault, a founding figure in the family’s winemaking history. Located a few kilometres from the famous Château de Chenonceau, Domaine Guenault cultivates its vines on a plateau renowned for the quality of its terroirs. The plots rest on deep clay soils mixed with flint, promoting natural warming of the soil and optimal drainage. The old vines, over thirty years old, produce concentrated and expressive grapes. Ageing on fine lees in temperature-controlled vats adds depth and richness. In the glass, the wine reveals a very pale yellow colour with silvery highlights. The nose offers aromas of pear and white peach. The palate, both crisp and slightly rounded, offers a lovely balance between freshness and fruitiness. A convivial and expressive white, ideal with poultry, fish or lightly spiced dishes.
