Wine San Felice - Made from 100% Sangiovese, San Felice’s Chianti Classico Riserva Il Grigio comes from the predominantly limestone and marl soils of Castelnuovo Berardenga, a town near Siena in the heart of wine-growing Tuscany. Fermented on the skins then in stainless steel vats, aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak casks and French barriques, followed by approximately 6 months in bottle, Il Grigio 2022 displays the natural intensity of its vintage, with lingering aromas of violet, wild red berries and citrus zest. On the palate, dominated by a vibrant fruitiness, it is full-bodied, sleek and structured, with silky tannins and lively acidity, giving it a lovely freshness. A winning combination of flavours and sensations, which will pair beautifully with roast pork served with Mediterranean vegetables.
