Meursault Les Narvaux 2024 - Domaine Chavy-Chouet

Wine Domaine Chavy-Chouet - The vines on this small plot, aged around 60 years, are situated at the top of the steep hillside, on shallow limestone soil. Les Narvaux is an airy, lively and balanced cuvée, revealing aromas of white fruit and toasted almond on the nose, along with a lovely iodine- and mineral-driven reduction. The length on the palate is remarkable this is a Meursault that emphasises the tension of the Chardonnay, rather than the richness imparted by the terroir and barrel ageing. Mineral and energetic, it will require a few years in the cellar to fully open up.
