Nasco di Cagliari - Iselis 2024 - Argiolas

Wine Argiolas - Argiolas’ Iselis, DOC Nasco di Cagliari, is one of the few dry white wines from the Sardinian appellation (which is mostly dedicated to the production of sweet wines). Grown on the limestone soils around Cagliari, this 100% Nasco cuvée showcases the indigenous white grape variety, with its musky aromas of golden and roasted fruits. Aged in stainless steel vats on the lees for around 60 days, with a smaller portion matured in small French oak barrels, this wine with its distinctive character illustrates the expertise of this iconic estate, which excels in its winemaking. Full-bodied and harmonious from the very first whiff, the 2024 vintage exudes an intense bouquet of yellow flowers, tropical fruits and subtle hints of moss. On the palate, supple and enveloping, it is rich in flavours of muscatised peach and apricot, with a pleasant honeyed touch, well balanced by refreshing acidity. The long, lingering finish reveals a hint of salinity, accentuating the purity of the Iselis.
