Wine Sordo - Hailing from the iconic hills of Piedmont, Giovanni Sordo’s Nebbiolo d’Alba 2023 reveals all the nobility of this prestigious grape variety in an accessible and elegant style. Grown on soils rich in calcareous marl, it elegantly expresses the character of the Langhe terroir. Its brilliant ruby red colour, with a hint of garnet, heralds a wine of character. The nose is delicate and complex, blending aromas of red berries (raspberry, cherry) with floral notes of dried rose, complemented by subtle spicy nuances and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, the attack is fresh and structured, with tannins that are present yet well-integrated.
