Pietrarizzo Etna Rosso 2021 – Tornatore

Wine Tornatore - Produced from the Pietrarizzo vineyards, planted on some of the highest plots of the Tornatore estate, at an altitude of over 600 metres, this Pietrarizzo Etna Rosso 2021 is characterised by the freshness and fertility of the volcanic soils on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. Made exclusively from Nerello Mascalese, one of Sicily’s finest indigenous grape varieties, it was aged for a minimum of 12 months, 50% in concrete vats and 50% in wooden barrels. On the nose, it offers vibrant aromas of wild berries, raspberry, strawberry and cherry, with notes of flowers, sweet spices and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, revealing a crisp freshness, supported by fine, chalky tannins and a mineral finish, reminiscent of flint. Already pleasant to drink, it will unfold its full elegance over time.
