Port Six Grapes Reserve - Grahams
Wine Graham’s Port - Grahams flagship product, Six Grapes is a premium Ruby-style port, distinguished by its history, complexity and balanced fortification. The six grapes refer to the origins of port, when it was transported in casks on ships. To indicate its quality, bunches of grapes were drawn on the casks, numbered from 1 to 6 in ascending order of value. In the early 1900s, when port wine began to be bottled, Grahams Six Grapes vintage retained this tradition. Made from the native grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz, the Six Grapes Reserve is aged in casks for 4 to 6 years. Its rich aromatic profile fresh aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry, with notes of liquorice along with its velvety texture and structure, give it harmony and generosity. A sure bet for discovering the taste of Grahams. Serve slightly chilled.
