Wine Quinta Do Noval - Produced from the steep vineyards of the Douro Valley, this 10-year-old Tawny Port embodies the expertise and precision for which this great Port house is renowned. After several years of ageing in oak casks, the wine slowly develops a remarkable aromatic complexity and the characteristic patina of great Tawnies. On the nose, it reveals a refined bouquet of dried fruit, nuts and almonds, accompanied by notes of fig, caramel and sweet spices. This controlled oxidative development brings depth and elegance, whilst retaining a lovely aromatic freshness. The result of a blend of wines aged for an average of ten years in casks, this Tawny captivates with its roundness and complexity. Ideal served slightly chilled, it pairs beautifully with dried-fruit desserts, rich caramel or mature cheese, whilst also offering a moment of great elegance when enjoyed on its own.
