Roquerousse Rouge 2024 - Château de Calavon

Wine Château de Calavon - A delicious, vibrant red from Château de Calavon, in the heart of the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOP. A blend of Cinsault (60%), Grenache Noir (30%) and Syrah (10%), this organic wine reveals all the freshness of its clay-limestone terroir. On tasting, its scarlet red colour heralds a vibrant wine. The nose reveals lovely notes of strawberry, redcurrant and wild berries. On the palate, the attack is supple and fresh, carried by juicy, crisp fruit, without any astringency, leading to a delicious finish. Carefully vinified (cold pre-fermentation maceration, aged in stainless steel vats), it retains all the purity and brilliance of the fruit. Serve slightly chilled (12–14°C) it pairs perfectly with grilled meats, Mediterranean vegetables or fresh cheeses
