Wine Villa Poggio Salvi - Produced in the vineyard-covered hills of Montalcino, within the appellation of the famous Tuscan wine Brunello, Villa Poggio Salvi’s 2024 Rosso di Montalcino gently expresses the full range of its varietal characteristics. Made from 100% Sangiovese, it boasts a ruby-red colour and a fruity nose, with aromas of blueberries and plums, enhanced by slightly spicy notes. On the palate, with its fine tannins, it captivates with its balance, freshness and elegance. The finish, precise and slightly chalky, offers just the right amount of salinity. Characterised by its temperate climate and relatively short ageing (9 months in oak barrels and 3 to 4 months in bottle), the 2024 vintage focuses on fruit and liveliness. A finely crafted Rosso di Montalcino, to be enjoyed with roast beef and potatoes, or a rare fillet of beef.
