Wine Bindi Sergardi - Aged for 8 months in large oak casks, Bindi Sergardi’s Chianti Classico Ser Gardo is a 100% Sangiovese, sourced from the hills of Chianti Classico in Tuscany, the most prestigious appellation for Chianti red wines. Named in honour of Niccolò Sergardi, Supreme Magistrate of the Republic of Siena in 1530, known as ‘Ser Gardo’, this precise and elegant cuvée fully expresses the nobility of the grape variety, planted on Alberese soils. With a beautiful ruby-red colour, the 2023 vintage offers rich aromas of fresh fruit, cherry and strawberry, with floral notes. Smooth and balanced on the palate, it develops a silky roundness, leading into a long and flavourful finish. A warm Chianti Classico, illustrating the expertise and passion of the Sergardi family for their vineyards in Vagliagli (province of Siena), which they have cultivated with passion for 23 generations.
