Sous le Figuier 2022 - Château La Dournie

Wine Château La Dournie - This Saint Chinian is blended mainly from Syrah, then equal parts Grenache and Mourvèdre, grown on schist soils using organic farming methods. The wine has benefited from a long ageing period of 12 months, but not in wooden containers so as not to mask the brightness of the fruit. The nose reveals delicious notes of tapenade, nutmeg and black cherry. On the palate, the juice is generous and velvety, offering notes of ripe fruit and prunes with hints of menthol.
