Wine Villa Poggio Salvi - An authentic Tuscan red wine in name, style and origin, the IGT Toscana Rosso draws its originality from the king of local grape varieties: Sangiovese (softened with 20% Merlot). Produced by Villa Poggio Salvi, a traditional yet innovative winery in southern Tuscany, the Tosco comes from vineyards with marl soils, planted opposite the castle of Monteriggioni. Aged for ten months in Slavonian oak barrels and four months in the bottle, it offers a clean and balanced palate, full of character. On the nose, the Toscana Rosso Tosco 2024 stands out for its complex and elegant aromatic profile, with herbaceous, smoky and vanilla notes, enhanced by a hint of toasted almonds.
