Wine J. De Villebois - Produced in the heart of the Touraine appellation, this Sauvignon Blanc perfectly expresses a fresh and aromatic style. Despite a vintage offering slightly less exotic profiles than usual, this wine reveals lovely aromatic precision and a particularly invigorating finish. The nose opens with delicate notes of white flowers, accompanied by aromas of boxwood and exotic fruits. On the palate, freshness and liveliness dominate, carried by a lovely balance between citrus and exotic notes. A salty minerality provides structure, whilst a slight bitterness reminiscent of citrus zest and pith adds complexity and depth. The long, mouth-watering finish prolongs that sensation of freshness which is the hallmark of the great Sauvignon Blancs of Touraine.
