Tradition rouge 2024 - Domaine du Séminaire
Wine Domaine du Séminaire - Perched between 300 and 400 metres above sea level on the heights of Valréas, Domaine du Séminaire is a 60-hectare family-run vineyard managed using organic farming methods, with an approach inspired by biodynamics and the lunar calendar in the cellar. Now in its fourth generation of winemakers, the Pouizin family cultivates its vines on clay-limestone and loam soils, which ensure freshness and balance. This Tradition cuvée, dominated by Grenache (80%) and complemented by Syrah and Carignan, fully reflects this high-altitude terroir. Gently vinified with indigenous yeasts, with a long vatting period of 5 to 6 weeks followed by ageing in temperature-controlled concrete vats, it emphasises the purity of the fruit and the finesse of its texture. The result: a straightforward, honest and generous Côtes du Rhône, with integrated tannins and natural freshness, true to the estates authentic spirit.
