Viña Real Bakeder 2022 - CVNE

Wine Viña Real - Born in Laguardia, an iconic village in Rioja Alavesa, Bakeder pays homage to this landscape sheltered by the Sierra Cantabria, where the vines cling to limestone slopes. Sourced from plots situated between 550 and 600 metres above sea level, this Tempranillo is hand-harvested, before undergoing careful vinification with pre-fermentation maceration, and ageing for 10 months in French oak barrels. An approach that prioritises balance over showmanship. On the nose, there are aromas of red and black fruits, liquorice, and subtle notes of spice and cocoa. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and well-controlled, with fine tannins. The wine remains precise, without heaviness, carried by a lovely freshness.
