Viognier - Pertinence 2025 - Réthoré Davy
Wine Réthoré Davy - Grown on shallow schist and clay soils, this Viognier reveals all the finesse of a northern cuvée, where the grape varietys natural richness is balanced by a freshness typical of the Loire. Made from grapes harvested at perfect ripeness, this wine benefits from precise winemaking aimed at preserving the fruits intensity and the Viogniers natural balance. Part of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, whilst ageing on fine lees accompanied by bâtonnage for four months enriches the texture and adds complexity. An intense nose reveals notes of fig, lychee and mango, enhanced by a spicy hint of ginger. On the palate, the texture is soft and full-bodied, carried by a tangy freshness that perfectly balances the aromatic richness. A delicious and harmonious Viognier, both generous and elegant.
