The only cuvée blended immediately after pressing – hence its name – it is made from grapes grown on plots with fine clay soils, producing wines that are both generous and expressive. Made from Chardonnay, this wine is a blend of complementary origins, combining limestone from the Middle and Lower Bajocian periods with varying layers of red clay. This diversity of terroirs brings both structure and complexity. Lively and full of freshness, this Viré-Clessé charms with its balance between richness and minerality, the hallmark of this superb appellation.
